Walt Disney World Resort (in Florida):
To apply for a school-related early release, you must have a faculty member or school administrator scan and email a letter to Disney Housing (WDW.Housing.Administrative.Services@disney.com) on school letter head stating:
* Your full name and perner (Disney ID number)
* The specific reason for your early return
* The exact date that your classes and/or programs begin
Once this information has been received, your request will be processed and a representative from the Disney Housing office will be in touch with you. Please keep in mind that your requested departure date can be no more than three weeks prior to your original departure date. Any requests for greater than three weeks will be declined.
The due date for an early release request is seven weeks prior to your original departure date. We are unable to approve requests submitted after the deadline for your departure date. Summer CE and Winter CE (J-1 Summer Work/Travel Program) participants are not eligible for early departure.
If the deadline has passed for your departure date, or if your request is not school-related please see the article for work-approved early releases.
Disneyland Resort (in California):
Although you have made the commitment to be here for the completion of your program, we understand that some situations may arise and warrant an early release. If it is possible, we will do our best to meet your needs, as long as the reason is within our eligibility requirements. The more thorough information you provide, the better we are able to assist you with your needs. Please stop by the Programs Office or submit a General Request to begin the early release process.
