Walt Disney World Resort (in Florida):
To apply for a work-related early release, the following criteria must be met:
* The Workforce Management leader (LTIM) for your location must approve the early release.
* The new departure date must be within three weeks of the original end date.
* The reason for leaving must be determined valid by the work area management.
* The early departure must not affect the operation adversely.
If all of the above criteria are met and an early release from work can be granted, please have your work location leader send an email to WDW Housing Administrative Services with the following information:
* Full name
* Perner
* Reason for departure
* Last day of work
Once this information has been received, your request will be forwarded to Workforce Management for approval. If it is approved, your request will be processed and a representative from the Disney Housing office will be in touch with you. Please keep in mind that your requested departure date can be no more than three weeks prior to your original departure date. Any requests for greater than three weeks will be declined. Summer CE and Winter CE (J-1 Summer Work/Travel Program) participants are not eligible for early departure.
If your departure is for a school reason, please see the article for school-related early releases to see if you may be eligible.
Disneyland Resort (in California):
Please contact the Programs Office by stopping by during office hours or submitting a General Request to discuss an early release for a non-school related reason.
Any resident who chooses to leave early is still responsible for housing fees throughout the duration of their program. Payment of remaining housing fees will be discussed with a member of the Programs Office team.
