Sometimes life gets in the way and you might have to re-consider your participation in the program. That's okay! We ask that you please let us know ahead of time so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
"Will my cancellation affect my future with The Walt Disney Company?"
Nope! As long as you let us know ahead of time, we can cancel your program and fill your position as needed. You are welcome to apply for other positions within the company, including another Disney College Program (so long as you still meet eligibility requirements).
"If I cancelled my program and then decide I am able to come after all, can I have my spot back?"
Unfortunately once your cancellation is processed, we're not able to reverse that action. A space is reserved for you on the program when an offer is made, and if you choose to cancel your program, we will have already made alternate plans to ensure our theme parks and resorts remain fully staffed for our guests. You are welcome to apply again for a future season as long as you continue to meet our eligibility requirements.
"I received notice in Transfer Genie that I am approved for a part-time/full-time position. How can I cancel my extension?"
If you received confirmation of a part-time or full-time role and you wish to accept that in lieu of your extension, you are able to do so by contacting us here. It is critical to note that you may only cancel an extension prior to the effective date of your extension (typically a Sunday). Once your extension is in effect, you will be responsible for completing your new program and would become re-eligible to apply for part-time/full-time positions in Transfer Genie within six weeks from your new program's end date. Your request must be sent to us prior to your extension start date or it will be denied.
"Can I get a refund of my Program Participation Fee and Housing Fee?"
Fees submitted are non-refundable, so we are unfortunately unable to process a refund in the event you choose to cancel your program.
