When you are running the air conditioner, the temperature cannot be set less than 72 degrees. Anything below 72 degrees may cause your unit to freeze over and make it non-functional for a day or two. Setting the temperature between 72-76 degrees is usually considered ideal for our mostly-warm climate.
You should also set it to the "Auto" Setting, not the "On" setting. The "On" setting just means that the fan is continuously running. When it is set on "Auto", the air conditioning is actually cooling your apartment and being used to maximum efficiency.
Walt Disney World Resort (in Florida)
Florida has a humid, tropical climate. For your safety and to deter pests, windows and doors must remain shut and locked at all times. Air conditioning units should not be shut off.
If you are experiencing issues with your air conditioning, call the Disney Service Center/ Programs Office so this request can be taken care of as soon as possible. If the Service Center is closed, please contact Security at your complex for emergency maintenance. These contact numbers can be found on the back of your Program ID.
