Are you interested in exploring new internship opportunities with 20th Century Studios or National Geographic? With the Disney/Fox merger, opportunities may be available! The 20th Century Studios internship program provides college students and recent grads with the opportunity to intern in various departments within businesses such as Twentieth Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures, Fox Networks and National Geographic. Internships with Twentieth Century Studios and Fox networks are located in Los Angeles and New York during Spring, Summer and Fall, and during the Summer, National Geographic has internships in Washington, D.C., New York and Illinois.
Although we have interns all over the U.S., most interns work in the Fox Studio Lot located in Century City. The Fox Studio Lot headquarters holds facilities for Fox administration, production personnel, stages, theaters, dressing rooms, and editing bays.
As an intern, you may participate in any events organized specifically for interns, even if you don’t work right on the lot. We have tours of the Fox Lot and networking mixers. And with the acquisition by Disney, 20th Century Studios interns are now able to take part in The Walt Disney Company intern events as well! This allows for more networking opportunities not only within the Fox lot, but within the Disney community too. There are speaker events, lunch & learns, and tours of the Disney Studio lot. Interns are encouraged to make the most of their internship!
So, what do you need to qualify for the 20th Century Studios internship program? All applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above. We also accept recent graduate students who have graduated within six months at the time of their application. Students should only apply to positions for which they meet the criteria. The programs run for 10 weeks and the majority of internships are part-time; the Spring session runs January through April, the Summer session runs June through August, and the Fall session runs September through December. Please make sure you read the job descriptions carefully, as any other qualifications will be listed in the postings.
If you are interested in learning more about internship opportunities, please keep an eye on our website, www.disneyinterns.com, where all positions are posted for each session. Good luck, and happy applying!
