If you are an Optional Practical Training (OPT) student or Curricular Practical Training (CPT) student, read the following carefully:
If will be using an F1/J1 Visa sponsored by your college or university during your program, please communicate with your school's International Advisor office (Designated School official) to sign your work authorization.
Your school must approve your work authorization – failure to receive approval from your school may result in not being able to participating in this program.
Important things to note:
- Your school must approve your participation on the program as a whole and not based on a specific role. Disney is unable to accommodate major-specific roles, and your school must be receptive to any role/location at the Walt Disney World Resort. View all potential role placements.
- You must be fully available during your program dates. A Disney Program is a full-time job, and you may be scheduled anywhere between 32-40 hours per week, depending on operational needs.
If your school/advisor requires signed documentation or additional information, please submit a request.
