Cultural Exchange Program Transcript Requirements
To participate in the Disney J-1 Cultural Exchange Program, applicants will be required to provide a copy of their transcript. Your academic transcript will provide the information required to confirm you meet the school eligibility requirement to participate in the Cultural Exchange Program. What is a Transcript?
A transcript is an official document from your college or university that lists every course you've taken and the grade you received in each one, along with your enrollment or graduation dates. It's issued by your college or university’s registrar or academic office, and it's used to confirm that you meet the program's enrollment requirement.
This document may go by a different name depending on where you study/studied. For example, it may be called a relevé de notes (France), histórico escolar (Brazil), historial académico or kardex (Mexico), certificado de estudios (Peru), or simply a transcript or academic transcript (Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, and the UK). Whatever your school calls it, it's the same type of document.
What your Transcript Must Include
You will receive information on uploading a copy of your transcript during the application process. Your transcript must:
- Be in English
- Have your Full Name
- Provide a list of your most up to date course completion at point of application
- Be from your college or university’s registrar, official student portal in an official document format (written letters from school faculty will not be accepted)
- The transcript issue date must be within 14 days of when you upload your document.
- Example: If you uploaded your transcript on June 15, the date printed on the transcript must be June 1 or later (including the current calendar year).
Candidates who do not upload a transcript with the information listed above will not be considered eligible to continue in the application process.
